UX Design for Events.com
Events.com is a company that focuses in event management through a platform (both web & mobile-based) that provides an event registration system. I assisted the team with various UX initiatives, from usability studies to providing practical design solutions to the business leadership. The design solutions I developed supported both mobile apps and responsive web platforms.
Key Task 1: Usability Studies
I conducted the usability studies project in the following ways:

Recruit and coordinate research participants

Conduct both remote & in-person usability tests

Process the testing results through meetings with the product design team

Analyze significant findings through severity ratings

Create a usability test summary report and propose potential solutions
Key Task 2: Interactive Prototype
I designed prototypes with Axure design tool, from static wireframes to interactive mockups. I valued a very simple, clean, and modern appearance in my design, which was crafted based on user needs and feedback that were collected from the usability studies and research. After many iterations of the design, many main features of the application can be found on the current Events.com product.
Key Task 3: User Story Management
Using JIRA to create story shells and manage the post-usability studies project, while closely collaborating with the team product owners and business analysts. With the understanding of the business needs and priorities, we structured and planned out the business acceptance criteria that are based on my design ideas of the different features of the application.
Key Task 4: Interactive Prototype
I designed prototypes, from static wireframes to interactive mockups.
